A complete recreation of one of Queen Amidala's most iconic gowns as seen in StarWars Episode I (gown, headdress, and royal makeup). The headpiece began as an insulation foam carving, with sheets of felt added to create a suitable surface for artificial hair wefts. The red embroidery on the tabard was done completely by hand, a process that took over 4 months. The gown pairs quilted fabric with faux fur trim and the royal court makeup is applied with Ben Nye Creme Colour. EVA foam, gold fabric appliqués, and faux jewels, and matching undersleeves help to create Queen Amidala's striking silhouette.
